SCOUT

Scout is the one who asks the question everybody else skipped.

The Squad has plenty of muscle and no shortage of nerve. What it needed was a reasonable voice — someone who looks at the plan, spots the hole in it, and says so before anyone charges through the door. That's Scout, SafeStrike Shield up, ruby red and steady.

She's newest to the team and already aiming at the biggest goal any of them have named: to be the most helpful hero in the world.

Her verse is Joshua 1:9 — be strong and courageous, because God goes with you wherever you go. Scout is proof that thinking carefully and being brave are the same skill.
